I want to have chemo really I do, but I’m not going to complain when it has to be postponed!! Originally scheduled for the 5th it’s now been postponed to Monday. My platelets are coming up but not fast enough, currently sitting at 74, up from 42 a week ago. They need to be at 100 before they hit me again.

My white blood cells have gone down, they were 2.32 last week and now they are at 1. I could have chemo if they are at 1, but not below.

My doc is now worried about my headaches so is scheduling me for an MRI. So here’s the new plan:

Next Monday, 9th October I have blood work done, then an MRI, then all being good I have chemo on the same day. What does it mean? It means I get to go to a yearly all-employee event for my job, AND I get one more weekend of feeling good!

Sounds like a great idea to me!!! Yay!!
