Today I had a Zoom call with my plastic surgeon and she admitted to me that the team actually messed up during surgery. Apparently my blood pressure started to go down and the anesthetist pushed fluids. She said hindsight they should have let my blood pressure go down a bit and not have been so reactive. It was all the excess fluid that led to me having fluid build up in my lungs.

I don’t know why but this has really upset me today. I had thought I was having a chat about what I might or might not do next. With the procedures I had done they almost always have to go and just do some nipping and tucking to get the final result. I thought it was a chat about that, but now I’m really thrown. I never thought in a million years that they’d admit fault. I’m just stunned.
