Cancer Day 184 / Rad Session 13/20: Great scar

It’s crazy how fast the days are flying by right now. The trek to be blasted, the trek back home…taking care of Evie and trying to get things ready for Thanksgiving, healing from my port removal surgery.IMG_8025
I’m now sleeping through the night…not even getting up to use the bathroom. I’m having loads of dreams, and I’m growing hair! I had to shave my legs this morning 🙂 The hair on my head is showing signs of being dark though one lady today said not to be surprised if it comes in grey and curly!?
She said you give it 6 weeks then buzz it back a bit and then it should grow normally. It will be interesting to see if that happens for me.
I’m spending a lot of time being thankful. I know I said in a previous post that I’d put messages of thanks on here, but I’ve actually been writing them down when I go for radiation and
sit in the waiting room. I’ll share them on Thanksgiving 🙂
I’ve been going to a lot of doctor’s appointments lately and my most recent one my surgeon took my bandage off so we could see where my port was removed. I have to say he did a fantastic job. And the fact that I even know he did a good job is weird but I’m really pleased with it. In a few years I don’t think you’ll be able to see it.
