So much of cancer treatment and recovery and then check ups is just the waiting. Waiting for appointments, waiting for tests, waiting for results…..on and on and on. And it’s not like it stops when the cancer stops. The waiting just keeps going.

I’ve waited around in some pretty weird places…seen some strange things, and many times have been waiting around naked! Ha!

Today I waited for my DEXA scan, which is a bone density scan to see how the chemo might have impacted my bones.

Now I wait for the results of my scan! Fingers crossed they just tell me to eat more ice cream!!
